What to know before you start

Panel order matters after folding

An eight-panel mini zine does not place pages in normal reading order on the flat sheet. Imposition rotates and reorders panels so the sequence becomes correct after printing, cutting the center slit, and folding the sheet into its final booklet shape.

Prepare images for print

Use source images with consistent orientation and enough resolution for the selected paper size. Keep important text away from panel edges and fold lines. A small safety margin makes home-printer alignment differences less noticeable in the finished zine.
